Sean Payton likes to compare young players to past Saints starters. It doesn't mean they will develop into players with that ceiling of production. 

Pat Bryant is earning the Michael Thomas comp from Payton. It means Bryant will have to beat out Devaughn Vele or the Broncos move Vele to flanker. 

Even if they do, Bryant will compete with Evan Engram for targets in the of the field and Vele and Courtland Sutton for targets at the boundary. 

Unless Bo Nix is ready to become prime Drew Brees, it's likely Bryant's production won't translate to more fantasy value than Sutton, Engram, or Vele this year.

If Engram gets hurt and Vele falters, Bryant could earn 700-900 yards and 6-8 scores, giving him legitimate weekly value as his fantasy ceiling. Until then, Bryant is a promising third or fourth option, at best, for Denver's passing game.
