Jaxon Smith-Njigba dominates the Seahawks' target game, but Shaheed will get his chances due to his speed and ability to get behind a defense.

Shaheed earned an extension from the Seahawks because he did what Seattle expected of him when they made the midseason trade: 1) Provide value as a return specialist and 2) supplement the receiving corps as a big-play threat.
Shaheed displayed promise in New Orleans as a fantasy option in larger formats. He could do the same when called upon in Seattle, and he'll have the acclimation time to be successful.
The obstacles to this happening might be second-year option, Tory Horton and the Klint Kubiak scheme that features two tight ends.
Shaheed is most likely a viable pick as depth for the Seahawks primary receivers and/or your league accounts for return yardage.
