Can Pearsall leapfrog Christian McCaffrey, Jauan Jennings, and George Kittle to earn the top spot on the passing game pecking order? Not this year.
I'm not sure he can leapfrog Jennings for the No.2 spot, which means if Brandon Aiyuk looks good when he returns, Pearsall might remain a contributor with isolated weeks of fantasy value.
I like the player, but I'm not convinced he'll have the second-year role people anticipate due to draft capital and athletic ability.
50-60 catches, 600-700 yards, and 4-6 scores might be Pearsall's ceiling unless injuries to Kittle and/or Jennings occur.
