The arrival of Doubs from Green Bay has been overshadowed by the arrival of A.J. Brown. Doubs still should be worth considering as a depth option ad the receiver room for the Patriots is a lot less crowded than that with the Packers.

Doubs signed a four-year deal with New England in free agency, and while the subsequent trade for A.J. Brown limits his ceiling, he remains locked in as a reliable secondary target for Drake Maye.

Will likely be moved around the formation, but his career production from the slot makes him an interesting fit in Josh McDaniels' offense. Fantasy WR2 upside if he ends up playing most of his snaps there.
Matt Waldman
Doubs is a good route runner with competent hands, but last year was the first season in his career where he delivered at least fantasy WR3 production.
Monitor what the Patriots do with Kayshon Boutte. If he's traded, Doubs is likely a lock to at least repeat fantasy WR3 production.
If the Patriots keep Boutte, they'll either platoon him with Boutte or use Boutte in the slot. This could lead to a Doubs becoming the third or fourth option in the passing offense and shutting him out of weekly fantasy value.

Kayshon Boutte standing out in camp
New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte has been the 'early star' of training camp, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss, who notes that the team could look to trade a receiver based on the team's depth at the position. For now, Boutte is behind WRs A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs on the depth chart, and likely WR Mack Hollins as well.
