Welcome to Week 5 of the 2026 Footballguys Roundtable. Our intrepid panel of fantasy pundits discusses and debates four topics every week. We split the conversation into separate features.
This week's roundtable features these four topics:
Let's roll...
Matt Waldman: These receivers have delivered fantasy WR3 value after four weeks.
- Roman Wilson WR29
- Romeo Doubs WR30
- Tre Tucker WR31
- Keon Coleman WR35
Pick the one you want the most for re-draft formats.
Corey Spala: I believe Roman Wilson is the highest-upside option in Pittsburgh's receiving corps. He leads the Steelers in both yards per route run and success rate this season while ranking second behind DK Metcalf as the offense's first-read target. An especially encouraging statistic is that Wilson is averaging the most fantasy points per game among Steelers wide receivers; he leads the group in targets per route run.
Wilson has seen six targets in every game this season. He has established a consistent and downfield role within the offense. In my view, he is Pittsburgh's best route runner and is consistently creating separation. I am optimistic that his role will continue to expand, leading to even greater fantasy production.
Gary Davenport: There has been some optimism that A.J. Brown could return from his ankle injury as soon as Week 6, although the original timetable for the injury was six to eight weeks. But Brown isn’t the only Patriots wideout who could be sidelined in Week 5—Mack Hollins picked up a calf injury last week that leaves his status for Sunday’s home date with the Raiders in doubt.
These wide receivers are either hit-or-miss options or guys who have something of an expiration date. So, this writer will go with Doubs, who got $17 million a season from the Patriots in free agency and could dominate wide receiver targets this week.
Maurile Tremblay: I prefer Keon Coleman because he has Josh Allen and a chance at more targets with DJ Moore hurt. Coleman led all Buffalo receivers in snaps when Moore went down against Detroit, staying on the field over Joshua Palmer. Moore's shoulder has now given out twice in three weeks.
Romeo Doubs is the closest competitor. But A.J. Brown is eligible to return in Week 6, kicking Doubs down to the second option in New England. In Las Vegas, Tre Tucker is number two behind Brock Bowers, and Kirk Cousins spreads the ball around pretty thin. Roman Wilson is the Steelers' third receiver behind DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr., with Germie Bernard in waiting.
