Introduction
Monkey Knife Fight is one of the fastest growing daily fantasy sites, offering a fun and unique product. There are no salary caps and no need for lineup builders. You do not have to compete against daily fantasy pros. Instead, you simply find the combination of player props you are most confident in and pick more or less. Since each combination (you must pick two or more players) plays in the same game, you can use correlation to your advantage. For example, if you assume that one starting quarterback throws for more yards than projected, the opposing quarterback is more likely to throw for more yards. This weekly article will count down the five best props of the week.
5: Thursday Night Special
Allen Robinson MORE than 13.5 fantasy points
Gabe Davis MORE than 12.5 fantasy points
- The last time we saw Gabe Davis, he scored 52.1 fantasy points against the Chiefs in the playoffs. While 52 points is an obvious outlier, the bet here is that the big game was not as fluky as many think. Instead, it was a coming out party for a player who could emerge this season as one of the top young wide receivers in the NFL.
We agree with Stefon Diggs ðŸ˜

- Do not be surprised if Davis has quite a few weeks where he outperforms Stefon Diggs, but even in weeks where Davis is just the WR2 for the Bills, he still has a great shot to top 12.5 fantasy points.
- Over the last two seasons, Buffalo’s second highest-scoring wide receiver has averaged 13.47 fantasy points per game. The median for Buffalo’s weekly WR2 was also 13.5 fantasy points.
- In 21 of 38 weeks, the second-highest scoring Bills wide receiver had more than 12.5 fantasy points.
- Allen Robinson is in the best situation of his career by far.
- The Rams' passing offense is a fantasy goldmine. Last season, Matthew Stafford threw for 4,886 yards and 41 touchdowns. Robinson does not need a massive slice of the pie to put up big numbers.
Allen Robinson will replace Robert Woods as WR2 in LA.

Woods finished Top-20 every season in this role.
Robinson beat man coverage at a Top 10% rate in 2021…
And now he’s paired with the #1 QB vs. man in Matt Stafford.
- Everything lines up well for Robinson to get off to a fast start. Eventually, Odell Beckham is expected back in Los Angeles but is months away. Van Jefferson has been ruled out for Week 1. It is Robinson, Cooper Kupp, and not much else in the way of proven receiving options for Matthew Stafford.
4: Under the Radar Pass Catchers
Tyler Boyd MORE than 39.5 receiving yards
Pat Freiermuth MORE than 38.5 receiving yards
- Over the past two seasons, Tyler Boyd had more than 40 receiving yards in 19 of 30 games (63%).

ðŸ…Ja’Marr Chase - 81 rec | 1,455 yds | 13 TDs
ðŸ…Tee Higgins - 74 rec | 1,091 yds | 6 TDs
ðŸ…Tyler Boyd - 67 rec | 828 yds | 5 TDs pic.twitter.com/Eed8T0Hnij
- Pat Freiermuth topped 38.5 receiving yards five times in his final 11 games as a rookie (45.4%) but should see a big jump in yardage production in his second season.
- The first area where we should see improvement from Freiermuth is in yards per reception. He averaged just 8.2 yards per reception as a rookie. Last season, the average for all NFL tight ends was 11.1 yards per catch. With a stronger-armed quarterback, Freiermuth’s yards per reception should be closer to league average. We have seen more big plays from him already in limited preseason snaps..
...getting TE Pat Freiermuth vs CIN LBs will be major gameplan for the Steelers O this week. Nice throw down the seam here with MLB carrying in TB2#PITvsCIN pic.twitter.com/xmn1wDzJd2

- Freiermuth had at least four catches in 11 of 17 games (64.7%), and if we assume he averages 11 yards per catch this season, he does not need to see a big jump in targets or receptions to project for more than 40 yards per game.
