Week 13 brought some surprise contributors from off the radar. As the season winds down, the surprise contributors will only continue to grow. We polled Dynasty staffers Jason Wood, Dan Hindery, Ryan Weisse, Andy Hicks, and Matthew Montgomery for their deep Dynasty Sleepers.
Who is a player that may be available on deep league waivers capable of surprising as a contributor in the next four weeks?
Isaiah Bond, Cleveland
Hicks: Let's go with Isaiah Bond from the Browns. Jerry Jeudy seems disinterested, and Cedric Tillman has been invisible since coming back from injury. Isaiah Bond has been a deep threat when Cleveland dares to throw past the line of scrimmage. With the Titans, Bears, and Steelers in the next four games, Bond may latch onto one of these rare throws and reach the end zone.
Darnell Washington, Pittsburgh
Montgomery: Washington is a player who will consistently be a part of the Pittsburgh offense, despite being the team's "third" tight end. With matchups to end the year against Baltimore, Miami, and the Browns in three out of four games, Washington can provide us with some stability in the flex position and even some upside in tight-end premium formats. He is averaging roughly four targets per game, which is admittedly not a lot, but of his 32 total targets, he's caught 22 and has two or more catches in four of his last five games.
Devaughn Vele, New Orleans
Weisse: Vele has mostly been an afterthought this season, but the Saints still see something in him. They gave up draft capital to acquire him from Denver. Last week, he finally flashed the upside that earned him that opportunity. New Orleans desperately needs a second option to complement Chris Olave, and Vele will get a chance to audition for that role for the remainder of 2025. He scored three touchdowns as a rookie in Denver and already has two in limited snaps for the Saints this year. At 27, his dynasty ceiling is capped, but over the next four weeks, Vele could surprise as a WR3 or high-end Flex option for teams willing to take a chance.
