Welcome to another season of Dynasty IDP Sleepers! The purpose of this article is to highlight a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs that might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions!
Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers
Drake Thomas, Seattle
It would appear that Tyrice Knight has fallen out of favor, and Thomas is now the weakside linebacker for the Seahawks. He's got double-digit fantasy points in each of the past three contests, while Knight hasn't been in double digits since Week 2. Thomas isn't just tackling, either. He's got two sacks and two passes defensed in those past three weeks.
Barrett Carter, Cincinnati
Another stalwart linebacker who has apparently fallen out of favor is Logan Wilson. The coaching staff seems to like Carter quite a bit, as evidenced by his rise in snap share over the past three weeks. In fact, he was on the field for all 61 defensive snaps last week, with Wilson only getting 12. Carter might be gone in larger formats, but if he somehow went undrafted in this past summer's rookie draft, grab him now.
Shaun Dolac, LA Rams
And finally, with the trifecta of major switches at the linebacker spot, it looks like Dolac is now the second inside 'backer with Nate Landman, in favor of Omar Speights. Speights has always been "just a guy", so it looks like the Rams are giving the rookie Dolac some run. He had six solos and a helper tackle last week, and while Landman is going to be the main tackler for this defense, Dolac could certainly have value himself.
