NFL teams have recently shifted their focus to a committee approach to defensive line deployment, which has changed how IDP managers draft. Instead of having defensive linemen on each team play a near every-down role, players are deployed as pass-rush/run-down specialists. This opened the door for more potential IDP streaming options.
Being able to stream positions is key to winning leagues. It is impossible to nail down every roster position with studs. You always walk away with one of your position groups feeling thin. This weekly article will cover IDP streaming matchups for the IDL and Edge positions to help you win your leagues.
Last week was a mixed bag of streaming plays. Daron Payne and Nick Herbig each had big games, worthy of a start. Though Jonah Laulu was a miss, the matchup proved good as his running mate, Adam Butler, came away with the big game. Joey Bosa could not hit home, though he was mighty close. He came away with four pressures. Let's look at the top IDP streaming options for Week 4.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Folorunso Fatukasi, Houston Texans
Matchup: Tennessee Titans - Ranked 27th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
The Texans have been searching for a strong interior defensive presence for what seems like an eternity. Fatukasi is not the long-term answer, but he has been off to a strong start in the 2025 season. He has seven tackles and one-and-a-half sacks in his first three games. Will Anderson Jr. has been dominant at collapsing the pocket, and Fatukasi has been a main benefactor.
Fatukasi has a great chance to keep his hot start rolling against the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. The Titans have allowed the most sacks this season, with 15 in four games. They are also missing their starting right guard, Kevin Zeitler, with a bicep injury, and right tackle JC Latham is day-to-day with a hip strain. The Titans' offensive line was already dangling like Sylvester Stallone in Cliffhanger; now things look more bleak. Fatukasi is a solid IDP streaming option for Week 4.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL John Franklin-Myers, Denver Broncos
Matchup: Cincinnati Bengals - Ranked 24th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Franklin-Myers was off to a slow start this season, but finally seemed to catch his footing against the Chargers in Week 3. He racked up three tackles, a sack, and three pressures. The Broncos have plenty of edge rushers, including Jonah Elliss, Jonathon Cooper, and Nik Bonitto. Franklin-Myers needs to be providing pressure from the interior.

He has a great matchup in Week 4 against the Bengals without Joe Burrow and with right guard Lucas Patrick questionable. The Bengals' offense looked terrible last week and will likely struggle to keep up with the emerging Broncos' offense in a pass-heavy game script. Franklin-Myers is a great IDP streaming option for Week 4.
IDP Streaming Option: Edge Montez Sweat, Chicago Bears
