Top 10 DraftKings DFS Plays for NFL Week 2
Week 1 gave everyone a small mountain of data to sort through, new coaching staffs, backfields that already look different than they did in August, and a few quarterback situations that got messier instead of clearer. Below are 10 plays worth building around on this week's main slate, broken down by position with the reasoning behind each one.
Quarterback
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers, $6,200 (vs. Miami)
San Francisco carries the highest implied team total on the entire slate at 29.5 points as they host a Miami defense that struggled for much of last season. Purdy doesn't need to do a ton in this offense to return value given how often Christian McCaffrey and the receiving corps around him find the end zone, and a game environment this favorable gives him a real floor to go with his ceiling.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys, $6,400 (vs. Washington)
This game carries the highest total on the entire main slate, around 50.5 points, and Washington gives Prescott a legitimate get-right spot after allowing the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks in the league last season. Dallas ranked second in the NFL in pace last season and kept that up in the opener, so expect plenty of volume in an offense that should be throwing early and often.
