Welcome to Week 6 of the IDP Dynasty Sleepers! This article highlights a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs who might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions.
Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers
Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Philadelphia
After Trotter's Week 4 outburst (26.5 fantasy points), it's clear this Trotter can play like his dad and brother. Zack Baun is still around (but will turn 30 in a couple months and could be a cap casualty over the offseason), and Jihaad Campbell has proven worthy, but this defense can support two linebackers from a fantasy standpoint. If you are looking for a solid stash, Trotter fits the bill.
Darius Muasau, New England
Muasau proved himself worthy in spot duty for the Giants during his tenure there, and now finds himself as the primary backup to the almost-31-year-old Robert Spillane. Muasau is just 25, and while Spillane is a solid vet, he carries a $13MM cap hit in 2027. In mop-up duty last week in a blowout of the Raiders, Muasau chipped in with four solos and an assist in just 11 snaps.
Elijah Ponder, New England
Yup, another Pat, and this time the recommendation is for those in big-play formats. Ponder already has 4.5 sacks on the season, and while he may not qualify at linebacker in your league, he's a solid add regardless of where he's listed. He looks like a force for this Patriot defense.
