Rashid Shaheed Contract Terms
The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back wide receiver Rashid Shaheed on a three-year, $51 million deal that includes $34.7 million guaranteed, agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

Fantasy Football Impact for Rashid Shaheed with the Seattle Seahawks
A midseason trade acquisition from the Saints in 2025, Shaheed served as a speedy deep threat during the Seahawks' run toward a Super Bowl LX win.
Although he didn't produce eye-popping numbers in his nine regular-season games with Seattle, Shaheed was viewed as a factor in keeping opposing defensive backs on their heels and making it harder to focus all their attention on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who eclipsed the franchise's single-season records.
The field-stretching wideout was key for an offense that utilized play-action plenty, and his splash play ability came up big in Seattle's playoff run as he hauled in a huge 51-yard pass early on in its NFC title win over the Rams.
Shaheed also made an impact as the Seahawks' primary kick returner, taking back kickoffs for touchdowns both in the regular season and in the wild-card round in what was his second Pro Bowl season as a returner in 2025.
Shaheed, who tallied 44 receptions for 499 yards and two TDs in his nine games with the Saints before being traded, figures to be more comfortable with a full offseason in Seattle heading into 2026.
But will that make him fantasy relevant?
Shaheed has been one of the NFL's top deep threats since entering the league as an undrafted free agent out of Weber State in 2022. In three and a half seasons with New Orleans, he had six offensive touchdowns of at least 50 yards, and all but two of his 12 career scores were from at least 30 yards out.
In 12 regular-season and playoff games with the Seahawks, Shaheed caught 18 passes for 266 yards and no touchdowns (15 catches and 188 yards came in regular-season action). He added 86 rushing yards on 11 attempts.
None of this means he won't produce going forward. He may be better integrated in the offense with an offseason and training camp under his belt.
But fantasy investors should remain realistic. Early Average Draft Position data has Shaheed as WR62. That's slightly more optimistic than his WR72 Footballguys projection.
The price and projection may rise slightly with the certainty that comes from a new deal. But expecting him to climb into starter territory is a reach.
