On July 15th, twelve members of the Footballguys staff got together for the site's second mock draft of 2015. Below is the league scoring format and bylaws. Scott Bischoff provides an in-depth evaluation summary of each team's draft.

Starting with Ari Ingel from the 1.01 spot, Scott Bischoff provides an unbiased evaluation of each team's draft performance .

Ari ingel: DRAFT POSITION 1

OVERALL STRATEGY

Ingel used a balanced approach at running back and risk-reward at wide receiver with a little more weight to the running back position in the early part of the draft.

BEST PICK

Detroit Lions rookie running back Ameer Abdullah is going to be a big part of the offense and he will be a valuable asset in this PPR format.

WORST PICK

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry was selected with the last pick in Round 4. Wide receivers like Golden Tate, Kelvin Benjamin and DeSean Jackson were still available, and it’s likely that Landry could have been had a few rounds later.

EVALUATION

Ingel invested a Round 11 pick on Sam Bradford, and it’s not necessarily that Bradford is a poor player or a bad value at this point in the draft; it’s that he hasn’t shown that he can stay healthy. It was wise for Ingel to grab Eagles’ backup Mark Sanchez, but that’s the entire stable of quarterbacks on this roster. On top of not having a quarterback for the bye, it’s a huge gamble putting all the eggs in that basket.  Ingel selected three rookies at the wide receiver position, but this is a best-ball format and he’ll need them to produce to stay competitive.

Jason Wood: DRAFT POSITION 2

OVERALL STRATEGY

Wood invested heavile in the wide receiver position early and used a high risk-reward at the running back and tight end position.

BEST PICK

With the eleventh selection in Round 2, Wood got a running back that should be a running back 1 in this league. Jeremy Hill is a big, bruising runner and he should have plenty of opportunity to score in year 2.

WORST PICK

The selection of Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is one that Wood might look back and question. Players like Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Cam Newton and Phillip Rivers would all come off the board in Round 8 or later.

EVALUATION

Wood selected Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley in Round 5 and there is a lot of risk in that selection. It’s easy to point to this right now with the uncertainty of his health, but it’s one that could pay off. One of the three rookie running backs that Wood picked will need to step into a starting role on this team, and there is the biggest issue going forward. It will be critical to get this team a steady level of production at the second running back position. Wood will get adequate play out of his quarterbacks and should be set at wide receiver, but will also need Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas to deliver.

Alex Miglio: DRAFT POSITION 3

OVERALL STRATEGY

Miglio used a very balanced approach and mined value at both the running back and wide receiver position early and in the middle of the draft.

BEST PICK

Miglio got a starting caliber running back in Round 7 with Raiders RB Latavius Murray. Currently, Murray is carrying an ADP of 42 overall and represents a very nice value here.

WORST PICK

A little nitpicking here, but Miglio selected Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph in Round 11 which was too soon, coupled with the fact that this team took Panthers TE Greg Olsen in Round 6. Rudolph or another option could have waited.

EVALUATION

This is a very balanced team with nice options at its starting spots and good depth which should have this team contending for a title. Player s like running back Andre Ellington and wide receiver Torrey Smith are wildcards, but there is enough depth behind them to support them even if they struggle.  The selection of Cowboys running back Darren McFadden was smart as he could be very productive behind that Dallas offensive line. This team will stay in the hunt all year if it gets what it is expecting from players like Peyton Manning, Jamaal Charles and Mike Evans and the rest of its premium picks.

Justin bonnema: DRAFT POSITION 4

OVERALL STRATEGY

Bonnema employed a high-risk approach to his group of wide receivers and balanced out his roster with a steady approach to quarterback and tight end position.

BEST PICK

The selection of Owen Daniels was a very smart move and one that could pay dividends on a regular basis as he solidifies the position on a weekly basis and will be a flex play at times. There is a lot of familiarity between Daniels and new head coach Gary Kubiak and this will help Daniels as he works to integrate into the Broncos offense.

WORST PICK

Bonnema selected Colts quarterback Andrew Luck with the fourth pick overall and that’s simply too high, understandable, but still too high. Luck’s current ADP is 15 overall and this pick could have waited.

EVALUATION

Bonnema selected Luck in Round 1 and followed that up with seven straight selections of either running back or wide receiver.  This team will go as far as Luck will take them, but it’s a little disappointing that Bonnema didn’t find a way to get more involved in selecting more players on the Colts roster. The tight ends selected have upside but a low floor. This team will need one to step up and the same can be said for the wide receiver position as Bonnema threw a bunch of darts and if a few hit this team will compete.

John lee: DRAFT POSITION 5

OVERALL STRATEGY

Lee invested in the playmaking quarterback with plenty of rolls of the dice at the running back and wide receiver positions.

BEST PICK

Lee got a potential franchise-changer in Round 2 with Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. The demise of Johnson has been greatly oversold. He is a fantastic value in Round 2.

WORST PICK

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is a very good fantasy option but Lee selected him in Round four as the fourth quarterback taken in the draft. That’s not good value for a premium pick and it costs this roster a solid option at RB or wide receiver.

EVALUATION

This team will get plenty to good play out of quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Cam Newton, but it needs a few things to go really well to challenge some of the other rosters. There is one steady option at the running back position (Matt Forte) and Lee rolled the dice on a few younger backs with murky paths to a starting job. The wide receivers should supply good production via Calvin Johnson, Kelvin Benjamin, Vincent Jackson and other pieces. The TE’s will be led by Martellus Bennett but the question that lingers is who will supply this team with production from the second running back spot, and what can the bottom of the roster types deliver to help push this team?

James brimacombe: DRAFT POSITION 6

OVERALL STRATEGY

Brimacombe drafted for value by waiting to fill the quarterback position late in the draft and stocking the cupboard with weapons at premium positions in Round 1 through Round 7.

BEST PICK

Tony Romo was selected with the sixth pick in Round 9 and this is the perfect scenario for those who like to wait on their quarterback. Getting Romo at this point in the draft was a steal for Brimacombe.

WORST PICK

This is a pretty balanced roster and it’s tough to find a glaring “worst” pick, but I look at Jaguars running back Dennard Robinson as a player that might not help this team very much. A better option would have been to back up tight end Jimmy Graham with something more than Richard Rogers.

EVALUATION

This team will stay in contention in the strength of the picks that were made by waiting on selecting a quarterback until Round 8. Running backs Eddie Lacey, DeMarco Murray and Carlos Hyde should help in producing week in and week out, as will the steady play of tight end Jimmy Graham. This team will get more than adequate play out of the quarterback position, so its true success will come to the group of wide receivers. I see risk everywhere at this position, but this is a best-ball format and there were enough darts thrown for this team to have a chance.

ryan hester: DRAFT POSITION 7

OVERALL STRATEGY

Hester went wide receiver heavy with three picks in the first four rounds. He targeted running backs in the middle and waited for QB’s in the middle and late part of the draft.

BEST PICK

Roy Helu Jr. is a running back with excellent receiving skills and opportunity for him is better in Oakland than it was in Washington. Hester took Helu Jr. in Round 14 and that’s nice value on this PPR format.

WORST PICK

Eli Manning was selected by Hester in Round 8 as quarterback 10. There were better fantasy options available in Cam Newton, Tony Romo and Matthew Stafford.

EVALUATION

This team will be carried by its wide receivers. While Hester grabbed a bunch of pass catching running backs, the stable of running backs is thin and that’s the price to pay for going wide receiver early. If Joseph Randle can handle the Cowboys workload, he’ll have hit gold. The same can be said for running backs C.J. Spiller and Giovani Bernard. Tight end Antonio Gates is suspended for four games and Hester will have to get by via Vernon Davis and Heath Miller. While the quarterbacks won’t go nuts here, the combination of Manning, Jay Cutler and Blake Bortles could give this team’s wide receivers enough support to keep it in contention if things go perfectly.

chris feery: DRAFT POSITION 8

OVERALL STRATEGY

Feery took a stud quarterback early and then went heavy in the draft for running backs and wide receivers, taking 11 running backs or receivers in the next 12 of 13 picks.

BEST PICK

Browns running back Duke Johnson has lit up offseason activities, and it should come as no surprise as he was a very good running option at Miami Fla., and in this PPR format he should fare very well.

WORST PICK

Feery selected Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in the middle of Round 4, and it’s hard to see the value in that pick. It’s not that he isn’t going to finish as TE3 this year; it’s a matter of being able to get him a bit later in the draft, or finding a comparable option a few rounds later.

EVALUATION

This was a hodge podge of a draft starting with the selection of Aaron Rodgers in the first round. Clearly, Rodgers will lead this fantasy squad but he’ll need a lot of help and Feery tried to get it be selecting a slew of running backs and wide receivers, many that need help getting to a starting job. Players like Shane Vereen, Duke Johnson, Donte Moncrief and John Brown all can help as they are potentially productive options, but that’s also the problem here as the floor for some of these players could derail this team’s hopes.

Will grant: DRAFT POSITION 9

OVERALL STRATEGY

Boom-bust with WR early and value with quarterback late.

BEST PICK

Broncos’ running back C.J. Anderson is a very good fantasy running back in a fantastic offense for his particular set of skills. He can play to a high-end RB1 level and getting him in Round 2 was a very wise move.

WORST PICK

This may sound ridiculous, but I don’t see Odell Beckham as a first round pick, as I believe the hype is out of control. Selecting him in Round 1 is a boom or bust type of pick and one that can make or break a season.

There is an expectation that Emmanuel Sanders’ role in the Denver offense is getting reduced, and for that matter his selection in the middle of round three was a reach as Grant could have bolstered his squad with more out of this premium pick.

EVALUATION

This team will get a very high level of play from the quarterback position but is left with boom or bust in other areas. The selection of Beckham sets this team back unless he goes for 1400+ yards and a dozen scores or more. This team is filled with options that “could be” productive but just as easily could be minor options that don’t help in best-ball. The tandem of TE’s Zac Ertz and Dwayne Allen are going to struggle to produce week in and week out, which is another item that is holding this squad back.

JEne bramel: DRAFT POSITION 10

OVERALL STRATEGY

Bramel took a late-round approach to the QB position and implemented a solid approach to adding running back, and tight end in the early part of the draft.

BEST PICKS

Adrian Peterson is still a premier running back, and there is talk about his age, but he’s coming off a season in which he missed 15 games and taken some wear and tear off the body. This was a very good pick.

WORST PICKS

Bramel took Andre Johnson in Round 4 and it was far too early for John son. That said, he is walking into a great situation and it’s a matter of how quickly he can pick up the offense. Could this pick have waited a round or two?

EVALUATION

There’s a lot to like here with plenty of options as starters and depth players to go along with studs like Peterson, Arian Foster, Golden Tate and Larry Fitzgerald. Bramel should get good quarterback and tight end play to go with a strong crew of starting running backs, and the success or failure here depends on how the wide receivers he has drafted pan out. If Brandin Cooks and Golden Tate can solidify a solid two, then Bramel will need some of the fliers he’s taken at the wide receiver position to come through to stay in contention.

jeff haseley: DRAFT POSITION 11

OVERALL STRATEGY

Haseley took a balanced approach, drafting 1 QB, 4 RB, 3 WR, and a TE through the first nine rounds.

BEST PICK

Frank Gore was selected by Haseley in the third round and he presents remarkable value, going into the powerhouse Colts offense looking to win a ring. Gore could be a RB1 at year’s end and that’s good value.

WORST PICK

Hasely selected a suspended running back (LeGarrette Blount) without a known role in the early part of the eighth round. There were better, safer options here and this pick could have waited.

EVALUATION

Held together by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the many darts that were thrown from Round 1 to Round 9, this team is intriguing. Clearly Marshawn Lynch and Frank Gore are running back 1 and 2, but this team needs a third. Rashad Jennings could be that guy, but if he isn’t, there are late round options with a shot. After Demaryius Thomas and Jordan Matthews, there is a job opening for the third wide receiver position and it needs to be filled but there are plenty of suiters for that job. Saints tight end Josh Hill steps into a gigantic opportunity and Charles Clay was highly sought after by Buffalo, so there’s hope for good TE play.
