Scouting Report
Terion Stewart had a prolific high school career but ended up in the MAC as a freshman, playing for Bowling Green. His first two seasons were quiet, amassing just 717 scrimmage yards. In 2022, off-field and mental health issues kept him from playing. He returned in 2023, looking completely revitalized. He built off a strong season, looking even better in 2024 and earning All-MAC honors. He transferred to Virginia Tech for his redshirted senior season, settling into a complementary role behind Marcellous Hawkins.
Stewart's college career can be defined by his perseverance, and his on-field play mimics that. He's stout and compact, around 5-9 and 220 pounds, but plays with a relentless motor. His stocky frame and thick waist allow him to navigate downfield with above-average contact balance and bend. Stewart is fearless, dropping his pads to invite contact rather than dancing around it. He has instinctive vision, which helps him quickly turn small gains into chunk plays. The missed time due to academic, mental health, and personal reasons could be a red flag for NFL teams, but he has the build and grit for a rotational role.
Rundown
Stewart makes up for his short stature with a strong motor, a muscular build, and a willingness to finish runs, but age and off-field concerns might cause some hesitation among NFL teams.
