Watching the numbers of Trey McBride and Michael Wilson explode once Murray was not the starter in Arizona should scare anyone relying on the Minnesota receivers this year. Murray could get some rushing touchdowns, but the passing numbers are unreliable. Starting week 1 is not the same as starting for an entire season.

He's one of the toughest quarterbacks to rank. If he starts all 17 games, it likely means he's taken command of Kevin O'Connell's quarterback-friendly offense and will outperform this ranking by a wide margin. If he flops, the Vikings could give him a quick hook, but the quarterback position's replaceability keeps Murray a medium-risk, high-reward draft target.

Kevin O'Connell is seen as a veteran quarterback whisperer with his scheme and surrounding talent. They should have kept Sam Darnold. Now, they are hoping to rehab Kyler Murray.
Murray has a starter arm, elite scrambling, and some awesome off-script plays. He's a smart quarterback in many respects, but he's not a wise one.
Like Jaxson Dart, he doesn't move with precision in the pocket. This limits him extending plays without his receivers re-routing and killis his offensive line's protection.
Murray has one season where he has supported more than one fantasy starter in the passing game in Arizona. Trey McBride told the media that many of his targets came from Murray skipping his first read and going directlyl to McBride.
Will this happen with Justin Jefferson? Unlikely, but it could mean he won't support this talented passing corps.
Murray's highlights look good. Then, you study his film and note he averages 12 healthy games per year.
