I shared concerns about Harrison's attack of the football while he was earning "the next generational talent" buzz at Ohio State. Unfortunately, Harrison's issues became magnified in the pros, which is typically the case for prospects.
Harrison excels with his back to the ball. When facing it and attacking, he doesn't track with the optimal position and fights the ball.
This led to drops. The drops led to Kyler Murray eschewing Harrison as his first read and going immediately to Trey McBride, who confirmed this during the 2026 offseason.
This year, Harrison will move to the Davante Adams role in this new Cardinals offense and Michael Wilson, will play the Puka Nacua role.
Wilson is the more complete receiver at this time as a route-runner and pass-catcher: Think Michael Thomas, Jr. to Harrison's Mike Williams with a case of drops.
Remain cautious with Harrison but valuing him as a WR3 with upside is appropriate.
