Justin Fields has the opportunity to be a franchise changer for the Jets. That team doesnt usually make the best decisions though. All or nothing this year.

Is he the Jets' QB of the future? Doubtful. Is he a league-winner now? Doubtful. The rushing is excellent, but his passing is unlikely to take a big leap forward. In 44 games, he has topped 300 yards twice.

This will be a big season to determine what his dynasty value will be going forward. I think he's with coaches who understand how to get the best out of him.

Wednesday practice report for Jets
New York Jets S Tony Adams (hip), CB Michael Carter II (shoulder), QB Justin Fields (concussion), DE Jermaine Johnson (ankle), RB Kene Nwangwu (hamstring), WR Josh Reynolds (hamstring) and DT Jay Tufele (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 17. LB Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring) was limited during practice. S Andre Cisco (shoulder), CB Sauce Gardner (groin) and LB Francisco Mauigoa (elbow) fully participated in practice.

Updating previous reports, New York Jets QB Justin Fields (concussion) would need to practice no later than Thursday, Sept. 18, in order for head coach Aaron Glenn to be comfortable starting him in Week 3.

New York Jets QB Justin Fields (concussion) is in the concussion protocol and out of practice Monday, Sept. 15. He will have to practice in order to play in Week 3, head coach Aaron Glenn said. QB Tyrod Taylor is being prepared to start this week in case he is needed.
