Roundtable: Difficult Week 17 Calls

Matt Waldman's Roundtable: Difficult Week 17 Calls Matt Waldman Published 12/29/2022

Welcome to Week 17 of the 2022 Footballguys Roundtable. Our intrepid panel of fantasy pundits discusses and debates four topics every week. Topics are now split into separate features.

This week's roundtable features these four topics:

DIFFICULT WEEK 17 CALLS

Matt Waldman: Choose your most difficult lineup decision for this week's games, argue both sides of the choice, and where you're leaning with what we know at press time.

Andy Hicks: D.J. Chark versus Brandin Cooks. Essentially it is a choice of safe points against a high upside. Chark has trouble staying fit, but when he plays he has big play potential. Of the 13 games in which he has 75 or more yards, 9 have touchdowns and 3 have multiple touchdowns.

Over the same time span, Cooks has been on the field for 21 more games but has the same number of touchdowns and multiple touchdown games with the same qualifier. Chark is the most likely to see my lineup as I am looking for maximum points and not a respectable score.
