Week 5 Recap- 2-3:

Week 6 Props

Joe Burrow Under 279.5 Passing Yards

I’m willing to take a chance here and say that the Week 5, 319-yard performance from Burrow and JaMarr Chase was a bit of a negative against the Cardinals defense instead of saying that Burrow is completely healthy. From everything we are hearing, Burrow is “getting close” to 100%, but they are not saying that he is fully recovered and here we are in Week 6. Even while fully healthy last season, Burrow only topped 279.5 passing yards in 7 of his 19 games. It’s a lot of yards and with Tee Higgins still not looking like he is 100% healthy, is going to make this a difficult number to top.

C.J. Stroud Over 221.5 Passing Yards

New Orleans pass defense has been good this season, as they are allowing just 198 passing yards per game, but when you look closer into this, there are some flaws. The competition that they’ve faced is pretty poor when we consider that they’ve played Ryan Tannehill, Bryce Young, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield, and Mac Jones. That’s arguably the five worst passing offenses in the NFL this season. Meanwhile, in every game that C.J. Stroud has played this season, he has thrown for at least 240 yards and is averaging 292 passing yards per game.
