We asked the Footballguys staff to give their ride-or-die takes for this season. Here's what they said.

A Bold Take from Jeff Haseley

Tank Dell will finish as the top-producing wide receiver on the Texans.

Tank Dell had an impressive start as a rookie, finishing with 7 touchdowns in 13 games. Unfortunately, his 2023 season was cut short by a broken leg, but his potential and talent are undeniable. What sets Dell apart is his relentless drive to achieve greatness. Amon-Ra St. Brown shares this same determination, leading to his spectacular success. Dell faces competition from players like Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs, but he has proven himself as a possession receiver, an excellent separator, and a deep threat. He scored a touchdown in six of the 13 games he played last year, including four of his last five games, showcasing his impact on the field. Before his injury, Dell surprised many, ranking as the WR20 in the league. As a rookie, St. Brown finished as WR26 and then climbed to WR9 and WR3 in the following years. If Dell's drive matches that of St. Brown, there's potential for him to follow a similar path of success.

A Bold Take from Jason Wood

Mike Evans' streak of 1,000-yard seasons ends this year.

Further, he’s one of many Buccaneers who will fall well short of expectations. If the credit Dave Canales got for keeping the offense afloat last year is warranted, we should be terrified of what that means with Liam Coen replacing him this year. Coen lasted one year as the Rams OC, then returned to the University of Kentucky and did little to help their offense. Baker Mayfield can run cold, and an average play-caller combined with Mayfield will mean a ton of suboptimal game scripts.
