Busts on the Arizona Cardinals
- WR Marvin Harrison Jr. - 9 votes
- TE Trey McBride - 2 votes
- RB James Conner - 2 votes
- LB Mack Wilson Sr. - 1 vote
- S Budda Baker - 1 vote
Reasons WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Could Be a Bust
- Phil Alexander: The same coordinator who couldn't scheme him the ball last year is still calling plays. Bigger muscles alone don't guarantee a second-year leap.
- Jeff Haseley: What if Harrison is the next Kyle Pitts? All the hype, but the results don't follow. His draft position assumes he'll be worth the pick. Is he?
- Matt Waldman: Harrison added muscle, but can he track and position on contested plays that limit his game? With a staff enabling Kyler Murray to be at his worst, I am skeptical of a leap.
- Ben Cummins: He's a solid player, but should be going in round five. Instead, he's routinely drafted in the early to mid third.
- Meng Song: There's been one 1,000-yard wide receiver with Murray...DeAndre Hopkins way back in 2020. What's the realistic range of outcomes for Harrison in Round 3?
- David Zacharias: Pedigree has inflated Harrison's ADP into top-16 wide receiver territory, an optimistic leap from his top-28 2024 finish.
- Jeff Blaylock: His 53 percent catch rate was second-to-last among wide receivers with at least 100 targets, and his 2.4 average yards after contact was third-worst. I'll pass at his mid-WR2 ADP.
- Colton Dodgson: My hesitation isn't rooted as much in Marvin Harrison Jr..'s talent as it is in the offense. I'm skeptical that Drew Petzing and Kyler Murray can help facilitate enough return on the investment.
- Craig Lakins: Despite being a "can't miss" prospect in last year's draft, he didn't show much of the upside we had all envisioned. I'm not out on him as a prospect yet, but I'm not taking him at his current ADP.
