This is a weekday series that will stretch through August 1. If you like this and want another, come back the next workday. Another will be here.

Busts on the Buffalo Bills
- RB James Cook - 6 votes
- TE Dalton Kincaid - 3 votes
- WR Keon Coleman - 1 vote
- EDGE Joey Bosa - 1 vote
- DT Ed Oliver - 1 vote
- WR Joshua Palmer - 1 vote
Reasons RB James Cook Could Be a Bust
- Hutchinson Brown: His 2024 touchdown rate is not repeatable; he’ll likely lose a lot. I am also afraid we see more of Ray Davis in 2025.
- Maurile Tremblay: His ADP banks on last year's 18-TD spike; looming regression plus Ray Davis nibbling make that price fragile.
- Phil Alexander: Ranked 25th in running back opportunity share in 2024, which is a red flag if he doesn’t repeat as the league’s rushing touchdown leader.
- Craig Lakins: Last year's 18 total touchdown pace isn't sustainable. It's hard to feel good about someone who spent their summer wrapped up in a contract battle.
- Jeff Bell: The new contract is not coming; we have seen running backs go into preservation mode in similar circumstances.
- Jeff Blaylock: He averaged one touchdown per 13 carries last season. He won’t be that efficient again.
Reasons TE Dalton Kincaid Could Be a Bust
- Jason Wood: Kincaid has done nothing in two seasons to suggest he has the upside of other receiver-focused tight ends who have taken the league by storm.
- David Zacharias: Sharing tight-end touches in an "Everyone Eats" offense doesn't translate to top-15 TE production.
- Ben Cummins: Kincaid should not be in your draft plans. Dawson Knox played on 50+% of the offensive snaps in 13 of 16 regular-season games and out-snapped Kincaid in all three playoff games last season.
Reasons WR Keon Coleman Could Be a Bust
- Jeff Haseley: I have mixed feelings on Coleman. He could be the best receiver on the team with a step forward, or the exact opposite if no improvement over last year.
Reasons EDGE Joey Bosa Could Be a Bust
- Kyle Bellefeuil: Injuries have plagued Bosa over the past three seasons, and things aren't off to an ideal start with him already suffering a calf strain in OTAs.
Reasons DT Ed Oliver Could Be a Bust
- Tripp Brebner: Oliver is a safe bet to meet his career averages, but IDP gamers always expect more than 5.0 sacks and 50 tackles, milestones he's exceeded just once in 6 seasons.
Reasons WR Joshua Palmer Could Be a Bust
- Andy Hicks: The Chargers were only too happy to let the underachieving receiver go.
