Sleepers at Tight End
Darren Waller, Miami (at Carolina)
Waller's first game of 2025 was a two-touchdown desperation play gift from the fantasy gods. This despite playing only 16 snaps. That number will go up, as will his target total, which was only four in Week 4. The Panthers have given up at least four catches for 39 yards to every starting tight end they've faced, and twice a tight end has scored against them.
Mason Taylor, NY Jets (vs Dallas)
Taylor emerged as a second downfield target for Justin Fields in the loss to the Dolphins. He caught five of his seven targets for 65 yards and will have a high ceiling this week against a Dallas pass defense that has allowed 1085 passing yards and 10 passing scores over the last three games.
Tommy Tremble, Carolina (vs Miami)
Tremble scored the touchdown to cap the almost flawless, scripted opening drive for the Panthers. He also caught four more balls along the way in the blowout loss to put up a quality fantasy start from the waiver wire. The Dolphins gave up six catches for 88 yards to Jets tight ends last week, and the Bills' tight ends scored twice against them in Week 3.
Dalton Schultz, Houston (at Baltimore)
If you need a safe 6-8 PPR points from a waiver wire pickup to cover Kyle Pitts Sr. or Tucker Kraft's bye this week, Schultz should be there for you. He has at least four targets, three catches, and 28 receiving yards in every game this season, and Baltimore has allowed at least four tight end receptions in every game, with an average of 6.5 tight end catches per game against them.
