Top 10 FanDuel DFS Plays for NFL Week 7

One game sits well above everything else on this week's FanDuel main slate. Packers at Lions carries a 53.5 point total, with Detroit favored by about three points coming off its bye. Detroit has an implied total around 28, Green Bay sits around 25, and the Lions' defense has been about as generous as any in the league. Behind that, 49ers at Falcons is at 49.5, and a pair of lopsided spots in Carolina and Houston offer cheaper ways to build around volume. Below are 10 plays worth building around, broken down by position with the reasoning behind each one.

Quarterback

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers, $7,600 (at Detroit)

Love gets the best quarterback matchup on the slate. Detroit allows 27.9 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks, the most in the league, and has given up 14 passing touchdowns. Love ranks fifth in the NFL in passing yards per game at 280.7, and Green Bay ranks fourth in pass rate over expected, so the volume is already there before you factor in the opponent. He also has history in this matchup, throwing six touchdowns without an interception in two games against Detroit last season. Last week he threw for 276 yards and a touchdown and ran one in himself. He's going to be popular, and the matchup earns it.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions, $8,000 (vs. Green Bay)

Goff is the other side of the same game, and his home numbers are what make him worth the price. In 20 home games since the start of 2024, he has averaged 278.3 passing yards, 2.2 touchdowns and 20.1 FanDuel points. Detroit is coming off a bye and owns the highest implied total on the slate. He threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns in his last game against Arizona. Love will draw more ownership, which makes Goff the slightly less crowded way into a game this likely to produce points.

Running Back

Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions, $9,800 (vs. Green Bay)

Gibbs is the most expensive player on the slate, and he's still the top running back play. He's averaging 26.4 touches, 149.4 scrimmage yards and 1.8 touchdowns per game, and he leads all running backs in FanDuel points per game. His last game was a reminder of the ceiling, with 25 carries for 151 yards and two touchdowns plus five catches for 56 yards. Green Bay allows 24.7 FanDuel points per game to running backs, 29th in the league. Pairing him with Goff or with a Packers receiver is the easiest way to build around this game.

Woody Marks, Houston Texans, $6,200 (vs. New York Giants)
