NFL news never stops, and we have plenty heading into Week 7. The Eagles' season continues in one direction, while the Packers head the other way. No one quite knows where the Giants are going. What else happened in Dynasty News as we near the middle of the regular season?
Jalen Hurts, Season Over
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for multiple months after new imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs. Hurts is now on blood thinners and should have no long-term effects. But it's unlikely he plays again this season. https://t.co/iLhCBu0Isa

Hurts has dominated headlines this week after revealing his blood clot issue and the complications that sidelined him for the Week 5 London game.
His 2026 season is over.
The story is less about football and more about Hurts's human side. Hopefully treatment can alleviate the issue.
We have seen players return to play after this condition and hope to see a return.
The Eagles turn to Tanner McKee, whose Week 6 debut was less than inspiring. The season looks lost for Philadelphia, given all of their injury issues.
Josh Jacobs, Season Starting
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Josh Jacobs will practice on Wednesday and get a full week of work but TBD on whether he'll play on Sunday at Detroit. "We feel like he's in a pretty good spot. He's been training, but he's missed the exposure to football."

The Packers learned Jacobs would be cleared to return from the Commissioner's Exempt list in Week 7.
Without him, Green Bay has been the NFL's worst rushing offense. Jacobs should quickly step into the lead role and return to a Top 12 fantasy running back, as the rest of the offense has performed well.
For Dynasty purposes, MarShawn Lloyd's health issues and his performance as the top back likely lead the Packers to explore alternative long-term options, potentially in the 2027 draft.
J.J. McCarthy or Jameis Winston?
