Welcome to Week 5 of the IDP Dynasty Sleepers! This article highlights a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs who might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions.

Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers

Harold Perkins Jr., Atlanta

Wow, welcome to the NFL, Harold!  Big game from the once-highly-touted prospect from LSU back in Louisiana last night.  Seven solos, a trio of assists, a half-sack, and a pass breakup.  He's slowly taken over the LB2 role from fellow rookie Kendal Daniels alongside Divine Deablo.  Maybe this was a situation where the Falcons were just up big and wanted to get Perkins more snaps, or this could be a sign of things to come.  There's no denying Perkins' athleticism or burst.  His main calling card was rushing the passer as a younger college star, but there's no reason to think he can't transition into a linebacker that can pile up tackles along with the big plays mixed in.

Isaiah McDuffie, Green Bay

The "no-duh" add of the week, with Edgerrin Cooper looking at a long rehab for his torn Achilles.  McDuffie has been an admirable fill-in when called upon.  Now, he's not necessarily a dynasty stash at 27, but he will have immediate value if he's available in your league.  When filling in as a starter last week from Weeks 10-14, he scored in double digits every week.  Now, I will say that Ty'Ron Hopper will also get some looks, so if McDuffie's already been scooped up, you could easily throw a dart at Hopper to see if his snap counts increase as well.

Jimmy Rolder, Detroit

Unlike McDuffie, Rolder is more of a dynasty stash recommendation here.  Should Jack Campbell go down with an injury (not wishing anything upon him, of course), then Rolder would get a shot in the middle for the Lions.  Malcolm Rodriguez is there, but he's more of a part-timer.  Rolder is closer to Campbell's stature than Rodriguez.  If you have some room on your taxi squad, give Rolder a look.
