Robinson is the Rhamondre Stevenson of the NFC. He's a good all-around back who lacks the breakaway speed that fans love. Like Stevenson and James Conner, the football public will be predicting his demise, and Washington's desire to move on will reinforce this notion.
Robinson's all-around game is good enough to pace a backfield. He'll be the 49ers RB2.

Quinn confirms Washington moving on from Brian Robinson Jr.
The Commanders reportedly are shopping running back Brian Robinson Jr.. The report gained significant credence when Robinson didn't play in Monday night's preseason game against the Bengals. After the game, Commanders coach Dan Quinn said that both he and G.M. Adam Peters spoke to Robinson on Sunday afternoon, and there are "a lot of moving parts" to the situation. Regardless of where the moving parts will go, the signs are pointing toward the Commander's moving on. "News like that's always not easy," Quinn said regarding the conversation with Robinson.
