Michael Wilson

Wilson proved he could be a true number-one option by racking up 1,006 yards last season while Marvin Harrison Jr. was sidelined, but expect his targets to take a hit with Harrison fully healthy and a new coaching staff leaning on a heavier run game.

Wilson played like a superstar whenever Marvin Harrison missed time and settled into a clear secondary role whenever he didn't. He's the wide receiver version of a handcuff running back.

Jeff Blaylock has noted Wilson as one of the 2025 leaders in garbage time reps among receivers. Expect a similar outcome in 2026 thanks to the state of the Arizona Cardinals. 

Even if Wilson and the Cardinals are playing in more competitive games, expect Wilson to remain the 1-A or 1-B option in a passing game that will mimic the LA Rams offensive scheme. The staff labeled Wilson's spot as the Puka Nacua Role and Marvin Harrison, Jr.'s as the Davante Adams. 

They may not deliver this level of production, but Wilson possesses excellent quickness, route skills, and physicality at the catch poiunt. I'd argue Wilson is a similar player in style of Michael Thomas, Jr. 

The potential drap door for Thomas is the potential for the Cardinals to be out of contention by midseason and go with rookie Carson Beck. If this happens, Wilson's production could slightly, but the target volume should remain similar to Nacua's -- 9-10 targets per game. A good figure to roll with.
