Jeff Blaylock has noted Wilson as one of the 2025 leaders in garbage time reps among receivers. Expect a similar outcome in 2026 thanks to the state of the Arizona Cardinals.
Even if Wilson and the Cardinals are playing in more competitive games, expect Wilson to remain the 1-A or 1-B option in a passing game that will mimic the LA Rams offensive scheme. The staff labeled Wilson's spot as the Puka Nacua Role and Marvin Harrison, Jr.'s as the Davante Adams.
They may not deliver this level of production, but Wilson possesses excellent quickness, route skills, and physicality at the catch poiunt. I'd argue Wilson is a similar player in style of Michael Thomas, Jr.
The potential drap door for Thomas is the potential for the Cardinals to be out of contention by midseason and go with rookie Carson Beck. If this happens, Wilson's production could drop 1-2 tiers. If not, Thomas is on the cusp of WR1 value, if not already there.

Wilson is a talented receiver who benefited from Jacoby Brissett playing mostly from behind, often by a lot. More than a quarter of Wilson's fantasy production came with Arizona trailing by 17 or more points in the second half, second-highest among WRs with at least 40 receptions last year. Garbage time will again be a feature of Arizona's offense, but that's not something dynasty managers should rely on.
