Every season, Week 2 presents unique challenges when building our tournament lineups. How much do we adjust our preseason expectations based upon what we just saw in Week 1? There is risk both in being too slow to account for the new reality and in going too far in the other direction and over-reacting to a one-week sample size. We know what proven stars like Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are capable of but their awful Week 1 outings may scare people away somewhat in Week 2. On the other end of the spectrum, we saw Puka Nacua earn 15 targets in Week 1. Is that sort of opportunity there for him as long as Cooper Kupp remains out? These are the type of challenging questions we need to sort through when building our tournament lineups on FanDuel.
