How It Works

Underdog Pick'em is a fun twist on daily fantasy games where you predict whether a player will go higher or lower than their projected stats across categories like touchdowns, yards, or fantasy points. To play, simply pick at least two props from two different teams. You can choose player stats like touchdowns, rushing yards, or even fantasy points and predict whether they will go higher or lower than the projected numbers.

Payouts

Underdog Fantasy offers a payout structure that rewards you based on the number of correct selections:

  • Two picks: 3x your entry
  • Three picks: 6x your entry
  • Four picks: 10x your entry
  • Five picks: 20x your entry

This article highlights a few of my favorite player props for Week 13. We are going with a trio of Pick 'Em overs this week, all three of which are correlated plays. Let's try to stay hot for the fourth consecutive week.

Bengals-Steelers 6X

underdog 1

Ja'Marr Chase Higher than 76.5 Receiving Yards

  • Chase's median receiving yard total this season is 72.0. However, when he exceeds this total, he often does so by a significant margin.
  • In their last four matchups against the Steelers, Chase and Burrow were both active in only one game. In that game, Chase recorded 10 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown on 16 targets.
  • The Steelers have allowed big games to speedy outside receivers in recent weeks, including Terry McLaurin (113 yards), Darius Slayton (108 yards), Jerry Jeudy (85 yards), and Malik Nabers (71 yards).

Pat Freiermuth Higher than 25.5 Receiving Yards

  • Freiermuth has recorded 75+ receiving yards in three of his last four games against the Bengals.
  • Over the past five weeks, the Bengals have allowed 407 receiving yards to tight ends, averaging 81.4 yards per game.
  • Freiermuth averages 46.0 receiving yards in losses this season, and the Steelers are three-point road underdogs.

Calvin Austin III Higher than 23.5 Receiving Yards

  • Since Russell Wilson became the starter, Austin is averaging 37.4 receiving yards per game, with a median of 36.0 yards.
  • The Bengals have lost both starting cornerback Dax Hill and his replacement, D.J. Turner, to season-ending injuries. Fifth-round rookie Josh Newton is now starting in their place.
  • Over the last 10 games, 22 wide receivers (2.2 per game) have surpassed 23.5 receiving yards against the Bengals defense.
  • Austin is a player who continues to make a case for even more targets.
