CASH GAMES

Quarterbacks

Rank Player Opponent Salary
1 Daniel Jones at Titans $5,400
2 Drake Maye vs Steelers $5,300
3 Aaron Rodgers at Patriots $5,200

The Colts offense hasn't punted so far this season through two weeks. Daniel Jones ranks second in passing yards per game (294) and is tied for the league lead in rush TDs (3). He's in a good spot here against a Titans defense that ranked 23rd in EPA/Play Allowed and 24th in Dropback EPA Allowed last season.

Drake Maye ranked eighth at the quarterback position in rushing yards (421) through Weeks 1-17, and he only played in 12 games and started 11 games over that stretch. He's a dynamic dual-threat, and he reminded us of that last week, rushing ten times for 31 yards and a touchdown. He's at home this week against a normally strong Steelers defense, but so far this season, they only rank 23rd in EPA/Play Allowed and 25th in Dropback EPA Allowed.

Aaron Rodgers is priced affordably at just $5,200 and has a great matchup on tap here against a Patriots defense that ranked just 31st in EPA/Play Allowed and dead last in Dropback EPA Allowed a season ago. New England's defense has continued to massively struggle so far this season as well.

Running Backs

Rank Player Opponent Salary
1 Bijan Robinson at Panthers $7,900
2 Jonathan Taylor at Titans $7,200
3 Christian McCaffrey vs Cardinals $8,200
4 Javonte Williams at Bears $6,100
5 Jordan Mason vs Bengals $5,400
6 Tony Pollard vs Colts $5,700

Bijan Robinson ranked sixth in opportunities per game (21.4), fourth in total yards per game (107.1), and ninth in total touchdowns (13) last season. He ranks fourth in opportunities per game (23) so far this season through two weeks. The Falcons are 4.5-point favorites, and Robinson has an incredible matchup against a Panthers defense that ranked dead last in both EPA/Play Allowed and Rush EPA Allowed in 2024.

Jonathan Taylor ranked second in opportunities per game (22.9) and fifth in total yards per game (106.7) last season. He ranks second in opportunities per game (24) so far this season through two weeks. The Colts are 3.5-point favorites, and Taylor gets to attack a Titans defense that ranked 23rd in EPA/Play Allowed and 20th in Rush EPA Allowed a season ago.

Christian McCaffrey ranked second in opportunities per game (22.2), first in total yards per game (126.4), and first in total touchdowns (21) in 2023. He leads the NFL in opportunities per game (26) so far this season through two weeks. He gets a Cardinals defense that ranked 29th in EPA/Play Allowed and 25th in Rush EPA Allowed last season.

Javonte Williams saw a respectable 18 opportunities in Week 1, and then his workload spiked to 25 opportunities in Week 2. He ranks fifth in opportunities per game (21.5) so far this season through two weeks. And he's been good as he ranks fourth in Rush Yards Over Expected per Attempt (+0.93). He's playing in the game with the highest Over/Under (50.5) on the main slate and gets to attack a Bears defense that ranked 28th in Rush EPA Allowed last season.

Aaron Jones Sr. is out with a hamstring injury, which means Jordan Mason projects to handle a massive workload at home against a Bengals defense that ranked 27th in EPA/Play Allowed and 29th in Rush EPA Allowed a season ago. Mason projects to perform well, as he has been off to a good start this season. He ranks ninth in Rush Yards Over Expected per Attempt (+0.60).

Tony Pollard has had two tough matchups to begin the season. He's in a better spot at home against an average Colts defense. The projected workload is there as Tyjae Spears remains on short-term Injured Reserve. Pollard ranks ninth in opportunities per game (20) so far this year.
