Welcome to another season of Dynasty IDP Sleepers!  The purpose of this article is to highlight a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs that might be available in your dynasty leagues.  I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues.  Let's take a look at this week's suggestions!

Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers

Noah Sewell, Chicago

Contrary to many depth chart sites out there, it was the third-year pro out of Oregon who stepped in (admirably, by the way) for the injured T.J. Edwards at the weakside linebacker spot for the Bears on Monday Night Football this past week.  Ruben Hyppolite II got a lot of good publicity in the preseason for his excellent play, but it was Sewell who stepped in for Edwards and finished with nine total tackles (seven solo).  Edwards is dealing with a hamstring injury, so Sewell may see another couple of contests as a starter.  Even if he doesn't, he's worth stashing.

Marcelino McCrary-Ball, NY Jets

Listed as the backup to Quincy Williams at weakside linebacker for the Jets, the undrafted fourth-year pro from Indiana tallied 11 fantasy points in standard formats this past week.  Williams is in his last year of his deal, so there's always a chance that the team moves on from him in the offseason, perhaps opening the door for McCrary-Ball.  Worth a shot in deeper formats.

Justin Strnad, Denver

Dre Greenlaw will eventually be back for the Broncos, but in the meantime, Strnad will see extended action.  He's probably better suited to leagues that offer more points for sacks, since he's not a high-volume tackler, but he's always had a nose for the football, especially in terms of finding the quarterback.  Here is some local information on the Denver linebacker situation.
