Welcome to another season of Dynasty IDP Sleepers! The purpose of this article is to highlight a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs that might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions!
Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers
Justin Strnad, Denver
We all had high hopes for Dre Greenlaw as a fantasy force coming over from the shadows of Fred Warner in San Francisco, although we knew that Alex Singleton would gobble up some tackles himself. But Greenlaw's been hampered by a quad injury and now (since he's a knucklehead) is serving a one-game suspension. Strnad has never been a volume tackler, but has the ability to rush the passer and has been the only other linebacker on the field next to Singleton this season. He has double-digit fantasy points in each of the past two weeks and has a decent matchup against the Cowboys here this week. Since we are handcuffed by six teams on bye this week, Strnad could be a decent filler in most leagues.
Jordan Magee, Washington
This is really a speculative, add-and-hold type of recommendation, only because Bobby Wagner is 35 years old and Frankie Luvu has been a disappointment this season. Magee is just 24 and saw his snap share up to 33% this past week. He's been in the league for two years, which means you can park him on your taxi squad if you have the room.
Ventrell Miller, Jacksonville
Another speculative type of add since Devin Lloyd (having a career-best season) is a free agent in 2026 and Foyesade Oluokun has been off a bit this season. Miller has proven to be a capable tackler for the Jags and could be a starter in 2026 and beyond. He had an 87% snap share with Lloyd sidelined this past week. Even with a limited snap count to start the season, he exhibited the ability to knock down passes and tackle as well.
