IDP Dynasty Sleepers: Week 15

Welcome to another season of Dynasty IDP Sleepers! The purpose of this article is to highlight a handful of linebackers, defensive linemen, and defensive backs that might be available in your dynasty leagues. I sample my own 12-, 14-, and 16-team leagues to get a cross-section of players who could be free agents in your leagues. Let's take a look at this week's suggestions!

Dynasty Sleeper Linebackers

Carson Bruener, Pittsburgh

Bruener is buried at the moment, behind names like Patrick Queen, Malik Harrison, and Cole Holcomb. But the Steelers know their linebackers, and Bruener is just a rookie, so you can grab and stash. He's got good size for an inside linebacker at 6-foot-1 and 220+ pounds. We highlighted Harrison last week, but know that he's really "just a guy". And Holcomb is an unrestricted free agent in 2026, so there is perhaps a path for Bruener to get more regular snaps next year and beyond.

Isaiah Stalbird, New Orleans

Demario Davis is ancient, and while Danny Stutsman is the heir apparent in the middle for the Saints, Stalbird has drawn praise from the coaching staff on the weak side and could see an uptick in snaps to round the season out. Pete Werner, the current weakside 'backer, has been inconsistent. So if you can't get Stutsman, Stalbird is worthy of a taxi squad stash for 2026.

Elijah Ponder, New England

For those of you in big-play leagues, Ponder is an interesting prospect. In limited snaps (capped at 53% last week), he has three sacks since Week 10. He won't be a volume tackler, especially with how Mike Vrabel and the Pats rotate linebackers in and out, but Ponder could hold value where you get more points for sacks. An undrafted rookie out of Cal Poly, you can grab and stash for the '26 season if you have the taxi squad space.
