We have finally reached the summit. This is the last IDP stock market of the season, and it has flown by. Whether you're a casual fan who likes this hobby or an obsessed sicko who reads every word every week, I want to take the time to thank you for being part of this with me each week. It is a true joy to take this silly little game and write my thoughts about it for those to enjoy or critique. Thank you for supporting Footballguys all season, and thank you for tuning into the market. Now that the sentimental are out of the way, let's get down to business. We still have titles to win!
Fortune 5
DT Jeffery Simmons, Tennessee
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Simmons is the premier player at his position, and he's absolutely dominating right now. He's delivered three consecutive weeks of 20+ fantasy points, showcasing his elite impact. Over that span, he's racked up 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, a defended pass, and a forced fumble. On the interior defensive line, it's all too easy to fly under the radar in this pass-rush-obsessed era, but Simmons is making an undeniable statement, perhaps even auditioning for suitors eyeing a blockbuster offseason move. Whatever the future holds, he's flat-out carrying IDP teams toward championships right now.
LB Jordyn Brooks, Miami
The GOAT is back, delivering at a championship-securing level. After a quieter five-tackle game in Week 14 against the Jets, he exploded back onto the IDP radar with 13 tackles, one sack, and one pass defended. He's now sitting on 155 tackles for the season with three games remaining. His career high of 184 seemed untouchable for years, but averaging 10 per game over the final stretch isn't far-fetched for Brooks. He has hit double digits in eight games already this year. With juicy matchups against the Bengals, Buccaneers, and Patriots ahead, he's poised to keep piling them up. Bottom line: Brooks has carried IDP squads all season and absolutely deserves his flowers as one of the position's elite.
LB Devin White, Las Vegas
Devin White might've finally found his forever home in Las Vegas, and his production is screaming for a permanent spot on your IDP roster. He's dipped below double-digit fantasy points in just one game all season, delivering rock-solid tackle volume even if the splash plays aren't exploding. Sitting at 149 tackles already, that's a fresh career high with games still left. He's posted 35 tackles over the last two outings, double-digit tackles in three straight, and nine consecutive games of double-digit points. At 27, he's still a dynasty gem, and with the Raiders' glaring needs everywhere, a long-term extension feels likely to anchor this defense.
LB Edgerrin Cooper, Green Bay
Who doesn't love a second-year breakout? Cooper has delivered exactly what dynasty managers dreamed of once he locked in meaningful snaps this season. He's evolved from a solid rookie into an absolute must-start IDP force in year two. His tackle consistency is the kind that anchors your lineup week in and week out, with only a couple of games dipping below double-digit fantasy points. Sure, the volume isn't quite Jordyn Brooks-level monster yet, but he's truly hitting his stride down the stretch, swinging matchups for his owners right when it matters most. 27 tackles over the last three games, with production climbing each week. Cooper's a star now and a future IDP legend.
S Nick Emmanwori, Seattle
Emmanwori is blowing up to close out the season, and it's absolutely deserved. He's riding back-to-back monster games right when fantasy managers need it most. Last week: seven tackles, a sack, and two defended passes, his second straight outing with 6+ tackles and a sack, pushing him to three on the year. This rookie is stuffing the stat sheet in every way possible, the exact multi-impact skill set that separates elite defensive backs in IDP. He's already at three sacks, 11 defended passes, and an interception, not to mention 60 tackles across just 11 games played. Get familiar with the name, folks, Emmanwori is here to stay.
