NFL teams have recently shifted their focus to a committee approach to defensive line deployment, which has changed how IDP managers draft. Instead of having defensive linemen on each team play a near every-down role, players are deployed as pass-rush/run-down specialists. This opened the door for more potential IDP streaming options.
Being able to stream positions is key to winning leagues. It is impossible to nail down every roster position with studs. You always walk away with one of your position groups feeling thin. This weekly article will cover IDP streaming matchups for the IDL and Edge positions to help you win your leagues.
Week 5 provided some great matchups, although some of our IDP streaming options did not hit. Maliek Collins was huge with a two-sack game, though there was no splash from our other choices. Week 6 offers some more tasty matchups. Let's look at the top IDP streaming options for Week 6.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Zach Sieler, Miami Dolphins
Matchup: Los Angeles Chargers - Ranked 21st in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Sieler is coming off back-to-back seasons of at least 55 tackles and 10 sacks. His performance was so impressive that he received a three-year, $67.75 million contract extension with $44 million guaranteed. His first five games have left fantasy managers scrambling with just 18 total tackles, and he still has not recorded a sack. The needle is pointing up, though. Sieler did record five pressures in Week 5 and has a terrific matchup.
The Dolphins take on the Chargers, who allowed five sacks last week to a less-than-impressive Commanders pass rush. They have also allowed 17 sacks this season, tied for the third-most in the NFL. The Chargers are also likely to be without Joe Alt again, who avoided the IR but is still banged up. Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb should wreak havoc off the edge, forcing Justin Herbert to step up in the pocket, hopefully right into Sieler's arms. He is a fantastic IDP streaming option for Week 6.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Bryan Bresee, New Orleans Saints
Matchup: New England Patriots - Ranked 13th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Bresee is another interior defensive lineman who has not met his lofty expectations this season, at least in the stat sheet. He is coming off a 2024 season in which he racked up seven and a half sacks, along with 25 tackles. 2025 was supposed to be a career year for the 24-year-old. Bresee's stats, 10 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and two passes defended, are not jaw-dropping, but he has created at least three pressures in every game except Week 1 per PFF.

Bresee will use his talents to play the Patriots in Week 6. The Patriots have allowed 17 sacks this season, which is tied for the third-most in the NFL. Look for Bresee to finally hit home as a strong IDP streaming option for Week 6.
