NFL teams have recently shifted their focus to a committee approach to defensive line deployment, altering how IDP managers draft. Instead of having defensive linemen on each team play a near every-down role, players are deployed as pass-rush/run-down specialists. This opened the door for more potential IDP streaming options.
Being able to stream positions is key to winning leagues. It is impossible to nail down every roster position with studs. You always walk away with one of your position groups feeling thin. This weekly article will cover IDP streaming matchups for the IDL and Edge positions to help you win your leagues.
Our Week 11 streamers were a bit of a bust. Travi Jones was pedestrian, Kenny Clark had two tackles, one for a loss, and half of a sack, Austin Booker had just two tackles, Josh Hines-Allen killed it with four tackles, one for a loss, and a sack, and Bryce Huff finished with just a single assisted tackle. It is time to move past, though, and take a look at the Week 12 IDP streaming options.
IDP Steaming Option: IDL Arik Armstead, Jacksonville Jaguars
Matchup: Arizona Cardinals - Ranked 23rd in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Armstead is quietly having a fantastic campaign for the Jaguars. His five-and-a-half sacks are the most he has had in a season since 2021, when he had six. He has done this in just 10 games as well. The realm of possibilities of breaking his career-high of 10 sacks is entirely attainable.
This week, Armstead is going to attack the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are tied for the sixth-most sacks allowed with 34. The pass-rush of the Jaguars should overwhelm the Cardinals' offensive line, making Armstead an excellent IDP streaming option.
IDP Streaming Option: IDL Adam Butler, Las Vegas Raiders
Matchup: Cleveland Browns - Ranked 19th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings
Butler's season is up to par, compared to his last two seasons in Las Vegas, except for his sack numbers. Butler had five sacks in each of his previous two seasons with the Raiders, though just one so far in 2025. His play of late speaks of a late-season resurgence. Seven of his 16 pressures have come in the last three games.
He also gets to challenge the Cleveland Browns in Week 12. They have allowed the 10th-most sacks this season, with 29, and are starting rookie Shedeur Sanders. If Sanders plays anything like he did last week, the Browns will be in trouble. Butler is a strong IDP streaming option.
IDP Streaming Option: Edge Derick Hall, Seattle Seahawks
