Week 6 Results
Green Bay (vs Cincinnati) - 1 sack
Joe Flacco got the ball out quickly and covered up the problems with the Bengals' offensive line. We might not be able to target them so easily now.
A Look Ahead: @ARI @PIT CAR - Jacoby Brissett might be a worse matchup than Kyler Murray when it comes to forcing sacks and turnovers. The Packers D/ST has been disappointing after such a good start.
Pittsburgh (vs Cleveland) - 6 sacks, 9 pts allowed
Dillon Gabriel didn't turn the ball over, but he didn't do much to help his offense score points either.
A Look Ahead: @CIN GB IND - This isn't looking as good as it did a week ago with Joe Flacco at quarterback for the Bengals. No wonder Mike Tomlin was annoyed with the Browns for trading Flacco to Cincinnati.
LA Rams (at Baltimore) - 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 INT, 3 pts against
The Rams D/ST performed so well against Cooper Rush that Tyler Huntley finished the game.
A Look Ahead: @JAX BYE NO - Trevor Lawrence is inconsistent, so we may keep the Rams in for another week.
Indianapolis (vs Arizona) - 2 sacks, 1 INT
Jacoby Brissett was a surprise 300+ yard passer, even with Marvin Harrison Jr. leaving the game because of a concussion.
A Look Ahead: @LAC TEN @PIT - The Chargers did a better job in Week 6 of keeping Justin Herbert out of harm's way, so this isn't very attractive, but Week 8 brings the Titans, so if you can't carry two D/STs, you might go with the Colts in Week 7 anyway.
Dallas (at Carolina) - 1 sack, 1 INT
We should have known that Rico Dowdle would have the last laugh in this one, as Bryce Young also brought his A game in Week 6.
A Look Ahead: WAS @DEN ARI - Whoopee Ti Yi Yo, get along, little Cowboys D/ST.
Washington (vs Chicago) - 3 sacks
We had the wrong side of this one, as it was the Bears that forced three takeaways even though they were on the road.
A Look Ahead: @DAL @KC SEA - A rough schedule ahead for the Commanders' defense
Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda
Las Vegas (vs Tennessee) - 6 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 INT
When the Raiders' defense does this against your offense, you get fired. The Raiders D/ST performance outscored their last four weeks combined.
Tampa Bay (vs San Francisco) - 6 sacks, 2 INT
Mac Jones never gives up, but that's a good thing for a fantasy D/ST matchup.
