Sleepers on the Dallas Cowboys
- TE Jake Ferguson - 3 votes
- RB Miles Sanders - 2 votes
- RB Javonte Williams - 2 votes
- QB Dak Prescott - 2 votes
- WR KaVontae Turpin - 1 vote
- LB Jack Sanborn - 1 vote
- The Linebackers - 1 vote
- RB Phil Mafah - 1 vote
Reasons TE Jake Ferguson Could Be a Sleeper
- Maurile Tremblay: Being drafted as ~TE15 after a prior TE8 season, he should feast on seams opened by Pickens.
- Jeff Haseley: Top 10 upside that you can draft later than that. A more productive offense helps Ferguson's usage and volume.
- Craig Lakins: Zero touchdowns last season left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, but he's due for positive regression. He can easily beat his TE16 ADP as Dak Prescott's third option.
Reasons RB Miles Sanders Could Be a Sleeper
- Jason Wood: The Cowboys once again failed to add a clear-cut, every-down tailback, and most drafters are throwing darts at Javonte Williams and rookie Jaydon Blue. Sanders is just as likely to emerge from an early-season committee but costs much less.
- Phil Alexander: Javonte Williams appears to be the frontrunner for the starting job, but Sanders is still in the mix. The gap in their ADPs is far too wide.
Reasons RB Javonte Williams Could Be a Sleeper
- Andy Hicks: The former Bronco was a poor fit under Sean Payton. Much better here. His only threat, for now, is Miles Sanders, who was awful in Carolina. Williams needs to prove himself in training camp, though.
- David Zacharias: On the expectation that Dallas' offense will be more run-focused than many think.
Reasons QB Dak Prescott Could Be a Sleeper
- Julia Papworth: Currently ranked as QB14 on Sleeper, a healthy Prescott has a high ceiling with CeeDee Lamb and the newly added George Pickens. Prescott has had five seasons as a top-10 quarterback and threw for over 4,500 yards just two seasons ago.
- Ryan Weisse: When healthy, Prescott seems to be a lock for 4000 yards and 30 touchdowns. If we get that in 2025, he'll certainly outplay his ADP.
Reason WR KaVontae Turpin Could Be a Sleeper
- Jeff Blaylock: He has seen his dual-threat role in the offense expand each season, and the Cowboys just signed him to a three-year extension worth up to $18 million. He's not being paid that kind of money to return kicks and run an occasional jet sweep.
Reason LB Jack Sanborn Could Be a Sleeper
- Kyle Bellefeuil: Sanborn's familiarity with defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus' defense and Dallas' current linebacker room make him a strong candidate to push for play calling duties with his new team.
Reason The Linebackers Could Be a Sleeper
- Tripp Brebner: Fantasy afterthoughts, Jack Sanborn and Kenneth Murray Jr. look set in the middle of a defense playing more zone, a tackle-rich environment, in 2025.
Reason RB Phil Mafah Could Be a Sleeper
- Zareh Kantzabedian: Rookie running back Phil Mafah may be off fantasy radars to begin the year, but should emerge as a waiver wire addition as the season progresses. At Clemson, he proved to be a mature interior runner and has already received comps to James Conner by Dallas' front office.
