Sleepers on the Jacksonville Jaguars
- QB Trevor Lawrence - 8 votes
- TE Brenton Strange - 4 votes
- RB Bhayshul Tuten - 2 votes
- CB Jourdan Lewis - 1 vote
- CB Caleb Ransaw - 1 vote
Reasons QB Trevor Lawrence Could Be a Sleeper
- Jason Wood: I've long been a Trevor Lawrence critic, but this year his ADP completely ignores legitimate upside for a breakthrough season thanks to Liam Coen's implementation of a QB-friendly system that reinvigorated Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay.
- Meng Song: Coen helped guide Baker Mayfield to a top-five positional fantasy finish last year, and now Lawrence has similarly good weapons and coaching.
- Ben Cummins: He's working with Liam Coen and has Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter at his disposal. Plus some rushing upside being forgotten about due to time missed in 2024.
- Hutchinson Brown: Lawrence has a sneaky rushing ability, Liam Cohen at head coach, and a new potential weapon in Travis Hunter. He could surely re-enter the QB1 conversation this season.
- Phil Alexander: Top-10 fantasy quarterback in each of his last two healthy seasons. Now he's paired with the best young WR duo in the league and a trustworthy scheme.
- Julia Papworth: Coen resurrected Baker Mayfield, and Lawrence has the talent and tools to be the quarterback we have all wanted him to be.
- Mauricio Gutierrez: Let's not forget he was already a Top 8 Fantasy QB in 2022. He's now in the best situation of his career... ready to roar and shake his mane.
- Colton Dodgson: This is likely the most promising situation of Lawrence's career. A fantasy arrival might not be in the cards if he doesn't turn a corner with Liam Coen.
Reasons TE Brenton Strange Could Be a Sleeper
- Jeff Blaylock: Liam Coen's last TE averaged 6.2 targets per game, ninth among all TEs. Strange is not surrounded by as many receiving weapons.
- David Zacharias: Strange was TE14 when Engram didn't play in 2024. Engram is gone, and new play-caller Liam Coen historically gives his TE1 more than a 75 percent snap share.
- Jeff Haseley: Evan Engram's departure to Denver sets up Strange to become the Jaguars' primary tight end, entering his third year with a chance for increased volume.
- Craig Lakins: Strange flashed real talent when stepping in for Evan Engram last season. Now in a full-time role, he's a steal as a late-round tight end.
Reasons RB Bhayshul Tuten Could Be a Sleeper
- Maurile Tremblay: With 4.32 speed, the rookie could vault to lead-back duties if Etienne/Bigsby falter in Coen's multi-back attack.
- Andy Hicks: Liam Cohen got excellent fantasy production from fourth-round rookie Bucky Irving last year. Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby are incumbents under pressure.
Reason CB Jourdan Lewis Could Be a Sleeper
- Kyle Bellefeuil: Jacksonville gave Lewis a lucrative contract in free agency, and he could be a nice late-round selection in deep true-position IDP leagues if he primarily plays the nickel role.
Reason CB Caleb Ransaw Could Be a Sleeper
- Tripp Brebner: There's an open competition at strong safety, and the team's second draft pick this year profiles as a sound tackler and plus athlete with adequate size.
