Jalen Hurts (QB-PHI) - I am rooting for Hurts, but his production was down in 2025, and the Eagles lost their offensive line guru. This offense appears to be in decline. Hurts' status as an elite fantasy quarterback was based on high efficiency as a passer and tush-push touchdowns from the one. Both of those dropped last season and could drop even further, especially if A.J. Brown is traded and the team doesn't bring back or adequately replace Dallas Goedert. This might be one of those scenarios where taking 50 cents on the dollar for Hurts in Superflex leagues now looks very smart by the end of the season.

TreVeyon Henderson (RB-NE) - Henderson's two games with two 50+ yard touchdown runs are the things that fantasy football dreams are made of. The rest of his season left you asking, "Where's the beef?" The Patriots opted for Rhamondre Stevenson overwhelmingly over Henderson in the playoffs, which is a clear indication that the skills that keep running backs on the field other than speed might be lacking. 

Omarion Hampton (RB-LAC) - Hampton was being outplayed by Najee Harris before Harris went down. He was a fantasy force after that, before promptly getting hurt. Kimani Vidal - who started the season on the practice squad - posted some games every bit as impressive as Hampton's best while the first-round pick was out, and kept the lion's share of the snaps after Hampton was healthy enough to play again. The Chargers could also bring back Harris, and the team seems inclined to go with a shared backfield in any scenario. Hampton got a big bump from the Mike McDaniel hire, so it's time to either upgrade Hampton to an established elite back or Ashton Jeanty, or Jeremiyah Love (i.e., 2026 1.1) with Hampton as the main piece in a package in a best-case scenario. If that's not possible, explore other avenues, because Hampton's value may never be higher than it is right now.

RJ Harvey (RB-DEN) - Harvey was a coveted back in last year's draft, but early indications are that he was overdrafted as a second-round pick. The Broncos' running game fell off when J.K. Dobbins went down, and the team will almost certainly add a back with a penchant for running between the tackles this offseason. Harvey's role is going to be more like Darren Sproles than Alvin Kamara in Sean-Payton-running-back terms, and he's not as explosive or creative as Sproles. Harvey is worth less than he was after going in the first round of rookie drafts last season, but more than he'll be worth once the Broncos make their move(s) at running back this offseason.
