Top 10 FanDuel DFS Plays for NFL Week 3

Two weeks of real data are in the books now, and the picture at a lot of positions is starting to sharpen up. Below are 10 plays worth building around on this week's main slate, broken down by position with the reasoning behind each one.

Quarterback

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, $9,100 (vs. L.A. Chargers)

Allen is the top projected quarterback on the entire FanDuel slate, and it isn't close. He shredded a Detroit defense in Week 2 that's now allowing the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in the league, and he's finding Dalton Kincaid with real consistency in a Buffalo offense that carries one of the higher implied team totals on the board. His price is the steepest at the position, but the ceiling matches it.

Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints, $7,500 (vs. Las Vegas)

Shough threw for 410 yards with three touchdowns in the season opener and has been one of the more productive quarterbacks in the league relative to his salary through two weeks. His connection with Chris Olave has been the engine of this offense, and Vegas appears to be undervaluing this game's scoring potential relative to how both teams have actually played. At $7,500, Shough is a notably cheaper way to attack a game environment that should be more competitive than the total suggests.
