IDP Streaming Matchups For IDL and Edge: Week 2

NFL teams have recently shifted to a committee approach to defensive line deployment, changing how IDP managers draft. Instead of having defensive linemen on each team play a near-every-down role, teams deploy players as pass-rush/run-down specialists. This has opened the door to more IDP streaming options.

Streaming positions is key to winning leagues. You can't nail down every roster position with studs. You'll always walk away with one position group feeling thin. This weekly article will cover IDP streaming matchups for the IDL and Edge positions to help you win your leagues. 

Week 1 was a horrendous swing-and-a-miss. It is also the hardest week to stream. We haven't seen the full scope of the team's first-string offense or how defenses are being deployed. As we move into Week 2, things are a little clearer. Here are the top defensive line IDP streaming matchups.

IDP Streaming Option: IDL Osa Odighizuwa, San Francisco 49ers

Matchup: Miami Dolphins - Ranked 28th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

The 49ers needed to bolster their defensive line after last year's fallout, when they accumulated just 20 sacks in 2025. One major addition came on the interior: Odighizuwa from the Cowboys. Though he did not pop in the box score, his performance was one to be excited about for 49ers fans.

Odighizuwa finished Week 1 with five total pressures. Nick Bosa looks healthy, and with him collapsing the pocket on the edge, Odighizuwa should be right there to gobble up interior sacks. The 49ers take on the Dolphins in Week 2. They allowed five sacks in Week 1 against the Raiders. Fire up Odighizuwa as a great IDP streaming option for Week 2.

IDP Streaming Option: IDL Travis Jones, Baltimore Ravens

Matchup: New Orleans Saints - Ranked 11th in Matt Bitonti's Offensive Line Rankings

I love writing about Travis Jones. He is a UConn alum, and I was able to attend practices with media access. Seeing him now and writing about a hometown player is surreal. He deserves it. Jones is more of a run-stuffing interior defender, though he also packs some pass-rushing pop. Jones showed all of this in Week 1, posting four total tackles, two for a loss, and two pressures.

The Ravens square off against the Saints in Week 2, who allowed five sacks in Week 1. Jones enters the weekend with a strong rushing floor, plus a potential splash play against an offensive line that was dominated in Week 1. He is a safe IDP streaming option for Week 2.

IDP Streaming Option: Edge Yaya Diaby, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
