As we head into Week 8, there are many impactful injuries that fantasy managers need to be aware of. Here are some of the biggest ones to watch.

WR A.J. Brown (knee), New England Patriots

Brown was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice and has since been downgraded to back-to-back DNPs. While the team hasn't said anything officially, Daniel Rotman said Brown "will be out multiple weeks due to injury." Brown landed on IR after injuring his ankle in Week 1, but his recent injury involved his knee. Reports swirled this offseason about a degenerative knee condition that caused the Rams to back out of a trade, but the Patriots were willing to sign off on it. There's hope that Brown can recover and be the guy the Patriots traded for, but he's looking like a riskier play as we get deeper into the season. With an afternoon kickoff, fantasy managers will want a plan if Brown can't go. We've got you covered with our Late-Game Pivot Players. We'll hope for more information before the early games kick off, so check back in at our News before Sunday's kickoff.

WR DJ Moore (shoulder), Buffalo Bills

Moore practiced all week but was limited and in a non-contact jersey. His injury is hard to read, as he's recovering from an aggravation of a previous shoulder injury. He hasn't played since Week 4, when he was forced to exit early while playing through an injury he suffered two weeks prior. Moore's upside is obvious, and we saw it when he had 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Since then, injuries have forced him to leave early, play limited, or miss entirely. If he's active, he can be a risky WR3 start this week. Once he proves healthy, he'll be in the weekly discussion as a high-end WR2.

RB TreVeyon Henderson (illness), New England Patriots

Henderson is dealing with an illness. But the fact that running backs coach Tony Dews had to confirm with the media that Henderson wasn’t traded tells you about his current standing with the team. The Patriots seem to be losing faith in him as ball security and pass blocking remain issues. Even if he's active, Henderson can't be trusted in lineups right now. He's averaging 34.4 scoreless yards per game over his last five outings. He's worth stashing in case Rhamondre Stevenson gets hurt or is traded, but he's a shaky RB4 if active. He has upside, as he can score from anywhere on the field. But his floor is a zero.
