The NFL continues to expand its international reach. Here is the nine-game international slate.
But some of these matchups are not like the others. Some are appointment viewing. Some are...well...not.
We asked our staff to dig in.
We'll start at the bottom.
The C'est Répugnant! Tier
Week 7: Pittsburgh vs New Orleans in Paris
Ryan Weisse: I want to like the Saints, but Tyler Shough has a lot to prove, and Aaron Rodgers is not the draw he once was.
Kyle Bellefeuil: The Saints could be interesting, but I don't expect the Steelers to be.
Andy Hicks: By Week 7, we will know how good both teams are. Or aren't. Expectations are low, and Parisians deserve better than this.
Hutchinson Brown: Unless Tyler Shough comes out and shocks the world this season with a stellar performance, this will likely be one of the more boring watches of the NFL season offensively.
The Well, It's Football Tier
Week 4: Indianapolis vs Washington in London
Jason Wood: Neither team is a likely playoff contender, although it's early enough in the season to believe otherwise.
Ryan Weisse: By Week 4, we need to be concerned about injuries, and a lot of this game's stars have injury red flags.
Bob Harris: I hope I'm wrong about this one, but I'm not sure we see Washington's offense take a step forward this season.
Week 9: Cincinnati vs Atlanta in Madrid
David Zacharias: Maybe a good week to make the Bengals your Survivor pick.
Hutchinson Brown: Ja'Marr Chase and Drake London, two superstars in the same matchup. Who will show up bigger?
Jeff Blaylock: Perhaps the Bengals' defense will keep the Falcons in this game.
Week 11: Minnesota vs San Francisco in Mexico City
Sigmund Bloom: A renewal of two of the great NFL rivalries - Kyler Murray vs. himself and San Francisco vs. the injury report.
Jeff Blaylock: Whether it's Kyler Murray, J.J. McCarthy, or Max Brosmer at the helm, this Viking ship will be running aground in this one.
Hutchinson Brown: Who will be starting for Minnesota at this point this season? That's a big question at this point, as Minnesota could be clawing for a playoff spot.
