Scouting Report
Oscar Delp starred at West Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA, where he was recruited as one of the top tight ends in the 2022 class. He arrived at Georgia as a four-star player, choosing the Bulldogs over many other Power Five offers. His developmental freshman year was followed by some bright flashes as a sophomore. He spent those first two seasons buried on the depth chart behind Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. In 2024, after both were drafted, Delp saw an uptick in snaps but little change in production. In 2025, Delp retained his full-time role but still maintained similar numbers to the previous two seasons.
Delp is a prototypical modern-day move tight end. He has a long frame, runs tight routes, and catches the ball effortlessly. He is best when getting vertical, where he can win on in-breaking routes up the seam and to the boundary. He's instinctual after the catch, quickly getting downfield and evading defenders. At this point in his career, Delp is a polished receiver but will need to bulk up to block defensive ends and run through congested secondaries in the NFL. He struggles at times with contested catches and can be dumped off his mark by physical defenders.
Rundown
Delp is a pro-ready and versatile tight end with significant upside if he can add strength without sacrificing athleticism.
