DraftKings GPP Domination Week 11

Devin Knotts's DraftKings GPP Domination Week 11 Devin Knotts Published 11/20/2022

Know Your Opposition

If you want to finish at the top of the standings in a mid-to-large field GPP, your roster has to stand out from the crowd. Studying a list of projected roster percentages is a helpful first step, but it lacks the context of how the most popular players fit together under the salary cap.

To gain some insight into how the majority of entrants will allocate their cap space, so you can spend yours differently, let’s think about how the public is most likely to attack roster construction at each position.

Slate Overview- Another Challenging Week

This season has been hard for historically great GPP players. The reason for this is that many of the top GPP players try to find leverage through taking players who are under the radar. The reality is that the chalk has hit several weeks in a row which has been great for those that have built lineups that just take the top players and differentiating lineups in just a few spots.

The exact reason of the shift is still unknown, but there is speculation for a number of different factors. Some of which include:

  • Changes in pricing models with DraftKings
  • Projections being sharper
  • A cyclical shift where if everyone is trying to target under the radar players, then it elevates some of those secondary players roster percentages.
  • Random Variance as over a course of 10 weeks just about anything can happen

This is another week where finding reliable value plays is going to be extremely difficult.

Stacks

Top Stack

Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb

This is a game that while the over/under is only 48.5, could easily feature two good offenses in a potential shootout similar to last week with Miami and Cleveland. As good as the 8-1 Vikings have been, two of their last three games have been over 60 points, while six of their last seven have been above 50 points. This is a game that either quarterback could be taken in a GPP, but Cousins is projected to be rostered at just 5% this week. The wide receiver pairs in this game are very straight forward as Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb are the premier targets in this offense. Dallas on the other hand has been just as good offensively, as the Cowboys games have totaled 59 points and 78 points over the last two weeks as Dak Prescott has gotten back to form.
