Monkey Knife Fight is one of the fastest-growing daily fantasy sites. It offers a fun and unique product. There are no salary caps and no need for lineup builders. You do not have to compete against DFS pros. Instead, you simply find the combination of player props you are most confident in and pick more or less. Since each combination (two or more players) plays in the same game, you can use correlation to your advantage. For example, if you assume that one starting quarterback throws for more yards than projected, the opposing quarterback also is more likely to throw for more yards. This weekly article will count down the five best props of the week.
5: Thursday Night Special
Kyle Pitts MORE than 40.5 receiving yards
Chuba Hubbard LESS than 35.5 rushing yards
- Chuba Hubbard is expected to return from an ankle injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the past two weeks. We know how difficult ankle injuries can be for backs, and it would be crazy to think he returns anywhere close to 100%.
- In Hubbard’s absence, DOnta Foreman took a big step towards cementing himself as the go-to option on running downs. He was incredibly impressive in Week 8, rushing for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. While Foreman struggled in Week 9, he was put in an impossible situation with the offense completely overwhelmed in a blowout loss to the Bengals.
- While Kyle Pitts has been a major disappointment this season, the usage in terms of market share has been outstanding. He has garnered at least 30% of the targets in each of the last three games and had a whopping 60.6% of the team air yards last week. The issue is simply that the Falcons have not been throwing enough for Pitts to be consistently productive.
- While there is obvious risk here, it makes sense to roll the dice on Pitts this week. His best game of the season (5-80-1) came against these Panthers just two weeks ago. He was targeted nine times in that matchup and seven times last week.
- If Pitts can get seven-plus targets again here, the receiving over is very solid. Pitts averages 8.4 yards per target in his career.

- Based upon Marcus Mariota’s recent comments, expect Pitts to get force fed targets. "I think sometimes I've been a little too safe, a little too conservative where I'm putting the football, so giving him a chance to go get it,” said Mariota “I think that'll help some of his target numbers."
4: AFC North Demons
Andy Dalton LESS than 15.5 fantasy points
Najee Harris LESS than 12.5 fantasy points
- Andy Dalton has been playing well of late, but the Steelers defense has always had his number. In 16 career meetings against Pittsburgh, Dalton has averaged just 208 passing yards and has almost as many interceptions (0.9 per game) as touchdowns (1.2 per game).
- In six full games this season, Dalton has had less than 15 fantasy points four times (67%).
- Four times in the last five games, Dalton has not attempted a single pass inside the 10-yard line. Taysom Hill has taken a significant chunk of Dalton’s touchdown equity.
- Najee Harris has shown zero fantasy upside this season. He has not done better than 14.1 fantasy points all season and has scored over 12.5 points just once in his last five games.

- Unlike last season when Harris rarely left the field, he has yet to play 80% of the snaps in any game this season. He is at risk of losing even more playing time to backup Jaylen Warren according to some recent reports.
3: Young Legs 1
Ken Walker MORE than 79.5 rushing yards
Leonard Fournette LESS than 45.5 rushing yards
- Since the season-ending injury to Rashaad Penny in Week 5, Ken Walker has been the third-leading rusher in the NFL behind only Derrick Henry and Travis Etienne.

- In the four games since taking over as the lead back, Walker has averaged 22 carries and 4.8 yards per rush.
- Aside from a decent performance against a dreadful Rams rushing offense, the Buccaneers have been gashed by opposing backs. Ravens backs combined for 155 yards on 22 carries in Week 8. In Week 7, Carolina’s top two backs combined for 181 yards on 24 carries.
- Leonard Fournette’s rushing production has come crashing to earth after a pair of strong weeks to open the season. Over the last three games, he has not had more than nine carries or 24 rushing in any game.
- With very little volume of late, Fournette becomes a non-factor because his explosiveness in this offense is not there. For the season, Fournette is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry.
2: Young Legs 2
Travis Etienne MORE than 80.5 rushing yards
Clyde Edwards-Helaire LESS than 35.5 rushing yards
- Despite being stuck sharing time with James Robinson through the early part of the season, Travis Etienne has moved into the Top 5 in the NFL in rushing yards (680).
- Since Robinson was traded after Week 6, Etienne has seen his carries steadily increase. He went from 14 in Week 7 to wr in Week 8 and 28 in Week 9. Etienne has three straight games with 100-plus rushing yards.

- The Chiefs have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season.
- Clyde Edwards-Helaire has fallen out of favor in Kansas City. He saw just 27% of the snaps in Week 7 prior to the bye. In Week 9, he was phased out every further, playing just 17% of the snaps.
- Edwards-Helaire managed just five yards on four carries last week and has not rushed for more than 35 yards since Week 4.
1: Ascending QB
Justin Fields MORE than 21.5 fantasy points
Jared Goff LESS than 16.5 fantasy points
- Justin Fields was a top MORE play here in Week 8 when his fantasy point projection was just 14.5 points. He went way over with 26.0 points.
- Exceeding expectations has been a regular occurrence of late for Fields. His fantasy production has increased every single week since Week 3. He has scored at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last three outings.
- The production does not feel fluky for Fields. He is being used similarly to Lamar Jackson. Over his last four games, Fields has averaged 12.3 carries per game and has rushed for 408 yards and 3 touchdowns. That is nearly 15 fantasy PPG just as a runner. He is also tied for fourth in the NFL in touchdown passes since Week 6.

- The Lions have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so the matchup is ideal for Fields to continue feasting.
- Things are heading in the opposite direction for Goff. After a fast start, he has thrown just three touchdown over his last four starts (0.8 per game). He has averaged just 229 passing yards per game over that stretch. Aside from Amon-Ra St. Brown, the Lions have almost no reliable weapons in the passing game and it is going to continue to be a struggle for Goff.
