Busts on the Chicago Bears
- WR DJ Moore - 8 votes
- RB D'Andre Swift - 2 votes
- TE Colston Loveland - 2 votes
- LB Tremaine Edmunds - 1 votes
- QB Caleb Williams - 1 votes
- S Kevin Byard III - 1 votes
- WR Luther Burden III - 1 votes
Reasons WR DJ Moore Could Be a Bust
- Maurile Tremblay: ADP ignores heavy target competition from Odunze, Loveland, and Burden in a more balanced attack.
- Phil Alexander: Odunze's ascension, combined with the additions of Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland in the NFL Draft, creates a target squeeze relative to lofty ADP.
- David Zacharias: The presence of Burden, Odunze, and Loveland undercuts the likelihood of Moore living up to his mid-WR2 ADP in OC Johnson's run-leaning system.
- Matt Waldman: A good player who was miscast in Shane Waldron's system, and wasn't accountable for his route gaffes. Look for this offense to spread the ball enough that Moore's price is too steep this year.
- Jason Wood: Moore remains the alpha receiver and should come off the board as a fantasy WR3 at the latest. But given the new system and deep pool of young receiving talent, there are a half dozen receivers worth targeting ahead of Moore at his ADP.
- Ben Cummins: Last season showed a decline in effort and production. Rome Odunze is the new number one receiver, and Coleston Loveland and Luther Burden III are legitimate target competition as well.
- Colton Dodgson: I'm a believer in a modest bounceback. At the same time, though, the price is a little steep given the role uncertainty.
- Jeff Bell: There is little question about Moore's talent, but concerns about his effort to end 2024 and attitude have already been addressed with subtle jabs by Ben Johnson in the media. The new staff has no ties to Moore.
