Michael Penix Jr. (QB-ATL), Kyle Pitts Sr. (TE-ATL) - Penix got dialed back in as a passer against the Commanders and went into the bye on a high note. His Week 3 dud against the Panthers will hopefully be one of the unsolved mysteries of the fantasy football campaign. The Falcons have a manageable mid-season schedule that could allow Penix to build momentum. Penix indicated that he was going to get the ball to Pitts during the offseason, and we are seeing that, in addition to Pitts playing a larger role in the offense. Pitts is playing with more emotion, and some of the plays from the good old days are clicking again. He could settle in as a solid TE1 with elite TE1 spike weeks.

Kenneth Gainwell (RB-PIT) - If you had never watched Gainwell before last week, you would think that he had been an every-down back for his whole career. He held up well over the course of the game and was successful running inside and on short yardage plays, scoring twice. The Steelers are heading into their bye, which gives Jaylen Warren time to recover from the knee injury that made him inactive in a mild surprise. Still, it's realistic to project that the Steelers will revert to a 50-50 committee approach between Warren and Gainwell, similar to what they had in Week 1. Gainwell could be the more effective player of the two if he keeps this up, and he's obviously the healthier of the two. Gainwell is one of only five backs to have a 30+ point PPR game this season. The others are Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, Ashton Jeanty, and Josh Jacobs. The fantasy football world seems to be underreacting to this.

Carson Wentz (QB-MIN) - Wentz put up some numbers in garbage time, but the Vikings' offense had trouble moving the ball for most of the game after they lost two more starting offensive linemen. They could get center Ryan Kelly back from a concussion this week, but right tackle Brian O'Neill is likely out, and Minnesota is facing the stout Browns defense. Philadelphia waits on the other side of Wentz's Week 6 bye. If there's any blood to get from this stone in a superflex league, now is the time to try.

Jake Ferguson (TE-DAL) - Ferguson has been the #1 tight end in PPR leagues so far. However, his success story has been aided by a truckload of garbage time targets in Week 3, as well as two wacky overtime shootouts where his offense scored 40 points in each game. He's going to be a startable fantasy tight end and might continue to put up spike weeks while CeeDee Lamb is out, but his current pace is unsustainable.
